Made according to a traditional recipe from full-fat milk from intact pastures.
The Prnikar farm has a rich tradition of producing natural young cheeses with which they were supplying Bled’s hotels already at the beginning of the 19th century. They upgraded their tradition by developing new flavours. The smoked cheese is made of pasteurised milk, smoked in a special smoking cabinet using local beechwood. It does not have a distinct flavour and does not melt, making it suitable also for baking.
