The Bled Fairy
A unique souvenir, made using natural and recycled materials with the technique of hand knotting (macramé).
Legend has it that a green valley where fairies danced once stood where Lake Bled is located today. But since the shepherds were constantly trampling the meadow with their livestock, the fairies asked for help. The rain poured over the valley, and a lake was formed. Only the island remained, where the fairies are said to continue dancing to this day.
You may not meet them on the island, but they can definitely dance right into your home. The Bled fairies, made using the macramé technique, are wonderful, timeless souvenirs that carry some of the fairy-tale magic of Bled.
