ART SHIVA Rikli’s hiking trousers and shirt

When Swiss healer Arnold Rikli is mentioned, his characteristic image and equipment immediately appears before our eyes, consisting of a wide-open, light, loose whitish shirt and, for that time, boldly short hiking trousers with edging that almost gives them the status of a uniform or ceremonialattire.

This is evidenced by photographs taken in 1877 by Vojko Zavodnik during his extensive research. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Rikli's birth, master craftswomen Andreja Strižnar and Tadeja Zupan have created replicas of Rikli's clothes, which you can now wear.
