NOD Adventure Park

When you want a slightly different experience in the vicinity of Bled, head to the Završnica Valley near Žirovnica. The NOD Adventure Park, the largest adventure park in Slovenia is located in the green embrace of the Gorenjska region forests, the Stol mountain and the Brezniške peči ridge.

The park offers plenty of fun and adrenaline among the treetops, in the bike park or simply a pleasant time with excellent food and drinks by the stream and the Završnica artificial lake.

 

More than a hundred challenges await you among the treetops

The central part of the NOD Park is an adventure park, set high among the treetops. A total of 118 different challenges are available, including 8 zipline descents over a mountain stream, where visitors can try their hand at balancing, climbing, overcoming obstacles, and descending on ziplines.

Before the start, each visitor must go through a short training session, and on the courses safety is ensured by the Swiss Kanopeo Speedrunner system, which enables carefree fun. Routes are of varying difficulty, suitable for both beginners and more experienced visitors. No previous climbing experience is required to visit the park. Adapted sections of the park are also available for the youngest, and children up to the age of 5 can use the selected courses free of charge.

Your hike through the canopy should take at least 2 to 3 hours, especially if you really want to get your adrenaline pumping.

One of the most adrenaline-filled experiences is a free fall from a height of 17 meters. You will have to muster all your courage to get to the top, but it's worth it for the incredible view that awaits you there. And then you just breathe in and jump without fear into the depth!

 

Try out your bike skills

If you prefer recreation on solid ground, the NOD Park also includes a bike centre. The free, 12-obstacle skill course is designed for different generations and skill levels, from kids to experienced cyclists.

Both electric and regular bikes and other cycling equipment are available for rent. The surrounding trails allow you to combine a visit to the park with a cycling trip through the picturesque Završnica Valley directly from Bled.

 

A family trip where no one gets bored

The NOD Park is interesting precisely because family members can spend the day on their own, but still together. Children overcome the obstacles between the trees, and parents can join them or watchfully monitor them.

 

After the activities, a relaxing moment by the stream

After a few hours of running around, it is time to take a break. Next to the NOD Park there is a bistro with a large terrace by the catchment area of the Završnica stream. Two illuminated volleyball courts are also available for additional recreation, so a visit to Završnica can easily turn into an all-day active break.
