Traditional event in May, when the sound of accordions is heard at Lake Bled
The greatness of Avsenik's music has taken the word of Bled around the world, and with it the image of the little island in the middle of the lake. In honour of the accordion and Slovenian tradition, Bled has been hosting a high-profile event since 2013, Accordions by Lake Bled, which has been built upon year after year. Next year's Accordion Weekend will take place on Saturday, 9 May and Sunday, 10 May, 2026 when the joyful sounds of accordions will be heard along the Lakeside Promenade, accompanied by traditional clothing and folk dance traditions.
