The traditional accordion competition - Golden Accordion Bled 2024 - will be held live again this year and will also be available to watch online. The Golden Accordion Bled competition is part of the World Accordion Day celebrations, which have been held annually in the beginning of May since 2009. On 6 May 1829, Cyrill Demian patented the first accordion in Vienna.
