Explore 16 stages of the Juliana Trail circular long-distance hiking trail
Every weekend from 13 June - 5 July

To walk, to admire, to understand and to experience. Join us on organized hikes on all 16 stages of the Juliana Trail circular long-distance hiking trail.

Why sit at home when you can enjoy amazing views and local attractions with us? We have prepared four weekends of guided hikes on all stages of the Juliana Trail hiking trail. All you have to do is decide, which ones you want to explore in our company.

What is Juliana Trail?

270 km or 16 stages of pure hiking pleasure. The Juliana Trail is a circular long-distance trail that does not lead you to the mighty peaks of the Julian Alps, but winds through the valleys and hills around them. Thus, you fully enjoy all the natural and cultural richness of destinations in the Julian Alps Association. At the starting or ending points of each stage, you can sleep, refresh yourself or just replenish the snacks in your backpacks.

The Juliana Trail hiking trail is not a trail of external achievement, it is a trail of personal growth during meditative walking.  And a quest to find riches in things we take for granted.

What will you be able to see and experience along the way in the company of guides?

On some hikes, the guides will provide a lot of interesting and educational information - from learning about biodiversity, cultural heritage, the possibility of sustainable mobility, safety in the mountains and examples of good practices. On all of the hikes, guides will be available for your questions.

How will the hikes take place?

All guided hikes are FREE of charge. Guides will be waiting for you at the starting points in the four weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) between 13 June and 5 July. On each of these days, there will be one hike on the Gorenjska and one hike on the Primorska side of the Julian Alps. For some hikes, you need to be in good physical condition, and some you will be able to do even if you are just starting with a walking routine. See details for each hike (difficulty, duration, transportation and parking options) and make sure you register in advance.
