INFORMAZIONI
Lake Bled Navigation Regime
Vessels that do not have a motor drive and have a shallow draft, which cannot damage the bottom of the lake are allowed to be used on Lake Bled. While “pletna”, wooden boats, kayaks, canoes and SUPs can navigate on the lake, it is prohibited to sail on the lake or use kiteboards or any other motorised or electric boards and sports equipment.
Users must follow the regulations of Navigation Regime (map above) and use the designatted entry-exit points. For the recreational boats of daily visitors the points are "Mala Zaka" and "Velika Zaka". Wooden boats with oars and a mooring at the shore of the lake are the only vessels that can stop, embark or disembark passengers using the floating installations off the shore of the Bled Island.
Sailing is allowed all year round. From 1 March to 31 October, it is allowed from 6 am to 11 pm, and from 1 November to the end of February from 8 am to 5 pm.
Due to the invasive shells present in the lake, all vessels should be carefully inspected before each entry into the lake and after exit. Sludge, aquatic plants and shells should be removed.
There is no fee for recreational sailing for individuals. Organized groups (5 persons or more) which perform sports recreational activities with vessels on the lake need to pay a fee of 10 EUR / vessel ().
