The Winter Fairytale in Bled has taken on a new look this year. The Public Lido Bled below the castle has been transformed into the Fairytale Park Bled, an experience that invites everyone drawn to the festive sparkle of lights. This is not just a decorated path, but a space where, surrounded by winter motifs and gentle light scenes, you can pause for a moment and immerse yourself in the feeling of the holidays.
Light images beneath the water’s surface
Upon entering the park, you are first greeted by light images beneath the water’s surface. The interplay of light and water gives the lake a magical depth and creates a scene rarely seen in winter. This moment often becomes the first invitation for a photo and captures attention right at the beginning of the walk.

Illuminated Holiday Motifs That Delight at Every Turn
Shortly after entering the park, you will notice a new illuminated installation — an almost five-meter-tall magical fairy that enchants at first sight. Its presence adds a touch of magic to the space and makes the walk even more magical. Along the way, festive motifs unfold, accompanying you at every step. Up close, you can admire the Pletna Boat, the queen of Lake Bled, adorned with lights and offering a view of the island that never fails to amaze. The park also features the Wishing Bell, where you can take a quiet moment to make a wish.

Along the path, you will also encounter an illuminated Boat, a Retro Bicycle that takes on a romantic appearance beneath a festively decorated tree, as well as Deer, Snowmen, and benches adorned with red ribbons. The benches are meant for pausing, so you can sit for a moment and soak in the atmosphere.
Scenes in the Fairytale Park alternate, guiding you into a calmer, festive world and creating the feeling that you have stepped into your very own Winter Fairytale by the lake.

Fir Trees Created by Children’s Imagination
A special place in the park is reserved for the fir trees decorated by children from the Bled and Gorje kindergartens. Their decorations add something to the scene that adults cannot replicate. A child’s perspective on winter is direct, honest, and surprising, adding warmth and magic that draws you even further into the festive atmosphere.
You can preserve the memory of the children’s creativity, as this very motif is one of the photo spots where heartwarming holiday memories are made.

Decorate a Fir Tree in the Fairytale Park
You can also contribute to the look of the Fairytale Park yourself. At the entrance, you will find a tree meant for everyone who wants to leave their festive mark. Bring along a decoration made from natural materials and hang it on the tree. A small addition made by your hands will breathe a piece of your holiday story into the park, making it even more personal.

The Mysterious Doors of the Fairytale Adventure
Among the hundreds of doors awaiting you in the park as large gifts with red bows, six are particularly special. These doors invite you to explore and create a sense of a little winter adventure. Behind three of the doors are rooms with stories about Bled legends, where motifs from local heritage intertwine with small details that bring the scenes to life.
The other three doors hide surprises you will surely want to capture on camera as well.

The Wall of Holiday Wishes
On the Wall of Good Wishes, small gifts await you, each containing a lovely thought that you can take home or share with others.
Corners Where the Most Beautiful Winter Photos Are Made
In the park, you can create your own festive memories. You will be enchanted by the land of fir trees with unique decorations made by children from the Bled and Gorje kindergartens, a sweet backdrop playfully hinting at the holiday season, and green lighting that clearly signals you are in Bled. A special attraction is the large snow dome with a view of the island, where this winter’s most iconic photos are captured.

Behind the mysterious doors, there are three more photo spots — two festive and one romantic.
Moments captured in the park can even appear on your holiday cards this year.
