Slovenian wine tasting

You are kindly invited to a Slovenian wine tasting in Hotel Triglav’s own wine cellar. With a wide asortiment of over 200 Slovenian wines you get to try wines from all over the country. Guided wine tasting will open new dimensions to your wine knowledge. You will get to hear many stories and learn how the wines pair with food. Five glasses of top wines will come accompanied by different local snacks. Sommelier Danijel Galjot and his team will be leading you through the tasting with his never ending passion and mastery of wines. Let him know your favorite foreign wine and he will serve you the most similar Slovenian version. 

Every week we have 3 different tastings scheduled:

• every Thursday at 17:00
• every Friday at 17:00
• every Saturday at 17:00

By request we organize wine tasting on any other day.

Tasting of spirits

Thee tradition of distilling spirits at the Tersegvav farm, located in one of the oldest settlements of Zapis, called Muže, is passed down from generation to generation. Over two decades ago, the head of the farm started adding various herbs and fruit to the Tepkovec brandy, thus creating over 100 different liqueurs during that time. He later abandoned many of these flavour mixes, and around 30 different liqueurs remain in the current offer.

At the tasting you will have the opportunity to taste various types of home-made spirits. The most popular among which are the Tepkovec brandy, cherry brandy and heath liqueur. These brandies and liqueurs may be purchased after the tasting.

The tasting includes: tasting of 10 spirits and liqueurs + snack.

Price: from EUR 23 to EUR 60 per person. Price depends on the size of the group, the minimum number of applications is 2. 

Transport is not included.

An open time slot is available subject to applications every Tuesday at 8 PM. Time slots may also be booked on other days.
