“Prgica” from Zasip

The village of Zasip in the immediate vicinity of Bled is known far and wide for its “tepka” pears. These fruits became the cornerstone for the story of “Prgarija”, which is now successfully continued by the members of the Active of Women from Prgarija, operating under the auspices of the Zasip Cultural and Artistic Society. In addition to culinary delicacies made from dried “tepka” or “prga” pears that are included in the “Flavours from Prgarija” book of recipes, the women have recently taken a step further, developing a product that will delight all chocoholics – delicious chocolate and “prga” pear pralines. The pralines are manufactured in the “Radolška čokolada” boutique chocolate shop.
