“I am a Musician” picture book

This picture book, written by Petra Benedičič and illustrated by Zina Džamastagić, will take you back to the era of Prešeren. The story takes place in the village of Bodešče, on an old homestead from 1664. The main character is Lenart, who was named after the Church of St. Leonard in Bodešče. A special feature of this picture book is the presentation of clothing heritage from the first half of the 19th century and musical instruments from the same period, prepared on the basis of research and cooperation with the Gorenjska Museum and Dr Bojan Knific. The picture book represents a unique bridge between generations, bringing clothing and musical heritage from over 200 years ago closer to children of today.
