“Selection from Gorenjska” menu at the Julijana restaurant

The “Julijana” restaurant, located on the terrace of “Grand Hotel Toplice”, will take you on an unforgettable culinary journey which did not go unnoticed by the renowned Michelin Guide. Even though they follow modern trends, their dishes also incorporate local tradition and flavours. The “Selection from Gorenjska” 4-course menu provides guests with an extensive selection of dishes prepared using ingredients by local producers.

“Selection from Gorenjska” menu:

• Cold starter: cornstarch and pumpkin panna cotta, cold-smoked trout tartar, Bled cheese chips, dried tomato jelly, roasted pepper dressing, home-pickled parsley root.
• Warm starter: baked sturgeon fillet, homemade herb noodles, baked local cabbage with cumin, leek cream with mint, fish sauce with tarragon.
• Main dish: local aged beef cheeks and braciole with herbs, new potato and morel soufflé, roasted red onions, garden peas, bean cream with bacon, carrot chips.
• Desserts: spruce tip ganache, condensed milk jelly, apples with local honey, white chocolate croquant with beetroot, redcurrant ice cream, sweet basil foam.
