Introducing 360° virtual tours of venues for business events in Bled

At Bled Tourism, in collaboration with Mediapro d.o.o., we have developed a comprehensive project to digitize the destination. This is a practical tool for organizers who want to check what a specific venue actually looks like and how it functions before arriving. The system goes beyond traditional photos, as it virtually connects the entire Bled area, conference halls in 19 hotels, and key landmarks.

Why use a virtual tour?
Virtual tours provide a quick overview of the layout, size, passageways, and lighting. Organizers can more easily visualize the event setup and assess whether the venue meets technical requirements.

Key new features and improvements:

LiDAR technology: High-precision LiDAR cameras were used for the interiors of the buildings, ensuring an exceptionally realistic spatial representation and high visual quality.
Intuitive navigation: Users can navigate through panoramic views of the lake (bird’s-eye view) and enter the selected space directly by clicking on a marked area.
3D presentations: The Bled Festival Hall and Villa Bled were captured using advanced 3D technology, enabling an even richer user experience.

The tool is particularly useful for international clients who are unable to visit Bled during the initial planning phase. Digitization builds greater trust by reducing uncertainty prior to booking and enabling faster coordination without additional questions.
