Month of Love at Bled

From 14 February to 12 March 2026, Bled enters the Month of Love. Our activities are dedicated to couples, friends, and everyone who cherishes the ideas of closeness, thoughtfulness, and quality time together. Special events, art installations, and delightful surprises will accompany visitors on their strolls, during dinner, at the castle, or while resting on a lakeside bench.

Carnival: Love is in the Air
On Sunday, 15 February, love will sweep through Bled. The Shrove Sunday Carnival, co-created by local groups and associations, will provide a vibrant introduction to the Month of Love with traditional characters, live music, and a bustling street atmosphere.

Romantic Interventions Along the Lakeside Promenade
The six-kilometre path around Lake Bled invites you to walk hand-in-hand and create lasting memories amidst magical moments. To ensure your memories of the year’s most romantic season are captured forever, seek out the special spots designed to lead you towards love.

A HEART OF LOVE MESSAGES IN A FLOWER-FILLED PAVILION
The Love Mailbox awaits your letter, wish, or thought to share with the romance of Bled and other visitors. The most beautiful reflections will find a temporary home in the Health Park (Zdraviliški park) pavilion, so be original, sincere, and sparky.

A LAKE THAT HAS SPOKEN OF LOVE FOR CENTURIES
The rowing stands in Velika Zaka once brought the poet Luiza Pesjak to Bled; she immortalised her vision of the lake in the poem Bled (1876). Nearly a century and a half later, her verses still hold the same rhythm: bells, boats heading to the island, gold upon the waves, and the castle perched above the lake.

Love-Themed Events at Bled Castle
From February until the end of March, Bled Castle will host the 4th RTM Month. The focus will be on love, friendship, affection, and the arrival of spring in the town.

Tower Gallery: A wedding photography exhibition titled Forever will be on display, showcasing moments from one of the most iconic wedding locations, Bled Castle.

Romantic Decorations: Visitors can admire the romantic decor, stop at a themed photo point, and send a free postcard with a message of love. Postcards with various motifs will be available in the Tower Gallery, where you can also write down your favourite romantic verse.

On 15 February, Enis Bešlagić invites you to the Festival Hall for an evening of laughter and fun. His performance, titled If I Were Someone, is a unique opportunity to share in his story and the path that leads him today.

On Monday, 23 February, the play Janezi 2 awaits you at the Festival Hall. Denis Avdić and his team will perform twice on the same day, allowing you to choose the time that suits you best for an evening for two that you will be talking about for a long time.
