Winter Fairy Tale 2025/26

Between November 28, 2025, and January 4, 2026, Bled will once again come alive with a magical festive atmosphere. The lakeside promenade and surrounding villages will be adorned with thousands of lights, creating a true winter fairy tale. A rich cultural program will offer unforgettable moments for visitors of all ages — from musical performances and light sculptures to delicious culinary experiences and stalls featuring local delicacies and unique handmade and artisan products.

The festive season will open on Saturday, November 29, 2025, with the lighting of the holiday decorations and a concert by Slovenian musician Vili Resnik. Throughout December, performances by legendary Slovenian artists and bands will follow, including Alenka Godec, Slavko Ivančič, Anja Rupel, Sendi, Dominik Kozarič, and others, while Sunday afternoons will feature traditional folk musicians.

On the afternoon of December 31st, the lakeside promenade will be filled with fun and games for the youngest visitors, accompanied by music from the band Fehtarji, and at midnight, the group Calypso will provide an energetic musical toast and dancing into the new year.

Among the main highlights of Bled’s Winter Fairy Tale will be the Circle of Friendship, where groups will “unlock friendships” through riddles and clues, the mystical Legend of the Sunken Bell, which brings Bled’s folklore to life at Christmas, and the Christmas and New Year’s Concerts in St. Martin’s Church, inviting visitors to reflect on the Christmas spirit.

In the heart of Bled, visitors are also invited to explore magical light sculptures inspired by local legends.
