The triathlon in Bled has a rich history. In 1984, the first triathlon competition in Slovenia was held in Bled. Since 2003, the Triathlon Club Kamnik has been organizing triathlon competitions again.

The event is intended for both professional athletes and recreational participants in various categories and levels of difficulty (Cici aquathlon, Super Sprint triathlon, Standard triathlon).
