The International AS Festival brings a vibrant concert programme that unites young talents with saxophone virtuosos.

Now in its ninth year, the International AS Festival Bled, organised by the Sekvoja Cultural Association, is open to all saxophone enthusiasts. Over the years it has grown into Slovenia’s leading saxophone event, gaining increasing recognition on the international stage. The festival is aimed both at young musicians wishing to deepen their instrumental and performance skills, and at the wider concert-going public.

This year’s programme includes workshops for saxophonists, individual lessons with expert mentors, an international saxophone orchestra, a seminar for saxophone teachers and a music trade fair.

Concert programme:

Friday, 6 February, 8.00 pm – Opening night The Crossroads:
Ljubljana Saxophone Quartet, Sarajevo Saxophone Quartet

Saturday, 7 February, 8.00 pm – Artist Gala:
Bled Saxophone Ensemble 2026 and festival soloists

Sunday, 8 February, 6.00 pm – Closing concert on Slovenia’s Cultural Holiday:
International Saxophone Orchestra of the 9th AS Festival, conducted by Marjan Grdadolnik

Admission is free. Please secure your free ticket via the Bled Festival Hall website or in person at the Bled Tourist Association (Cesta svobode 10).
