Bled Bus: Wandering Made Easy

This summer, the Bled Bus returns to connect visitors and locals with the best of Bled and its surroundings, including the lakeshore, nearby villages, the Pokljuka plateau, Triglav National Park, and the town of Radovljica. By choosing this convenient hop-on, hop-off bus service, visitors can leave the car behind, avoid the stress of finding parking in the town centre, and explore the area at their own pace.

Explore Bled and Beyond

The Bled Bus makes it easy to move around the lake and the wider region throughout the summer months. It is ideal for visitors and residents alike who want to make the most of a day out, whether that means discovering natural highlights, historic sights, charming villages, or trailheads leading into the mountains.

Travelling by Bled Bus gives you the freedom to plan your own route without the need to return to your starting point. This is especially handy for walkers and hikers heading up to Pokljuka or into Triglav National Park, who may be returning to the valley via a different trail.

Where Does the Bled Bus Go?

The service runs on three lines: Pokljuka, Countryside, and Lakeside. This year, the Radovljica line returns to the network as well, adding another sustainable travel option to the mix.

In July and August, all routes run daily. In June and September, the Pokljuka line runs daily on a special timetable.

Together, the routes provide access to popular visitor attractions, the lakeshore, the train and bus stations, Bled Castle, surrounding villages, the Pokljuka plateau, Radovljica, and other points of interest in the wider Bled area.

Tickets and Free Travel

A day ticket for the Bled Bus costs €5. Tickets are non-transferable and valid for one calendar day.

Free travel is available for holders of the Julian Alps Card and the Bled Lokal'c Card, as well as for children under 6 accompanied by an adult.

Tickets can be purchased online or by scanning the QR code displayed on the Bled Bus 2026 timetable.

Good to Know

Unlimited hop-on, hop-off travel is included with your day ticket. The service is not available for organised group bookings, and reservations and refunds are not possible. The Pokljuka line can accommodate up to five standard bicycles. Please note that pets are not permitted on board.
