From Robots to Floating Chairs: Gala Magic Show Delivers an Evening of Incredible Illusions

On Saturday, 20 September, the Festival Hall in Bled hosted the third Gala Magic Show, treating the audience to an evening where the impossible became possible. For one night only, the boundaries between reality and imagination seemed to vanish entirely.

Even before the show began, guests were enchanted in the foyer by the delightful fairy Gute Fee Lusy and the master illusionist Brlini, setting the stage for a night full of surprises and anticipation that continued in the main hall.

World illusion champion Alberto Giorgi from Italy amazed spectators by assembling a giant robot live on stage, bringing it to life with magic, and sending it for a walk across the Festival Hall. The astonishment reached its peak when Alberto disappeared and then reappeared inside the robot itself.

Regional star Stefano Igor Brkarić wowed the audience with a levitating chair, inviting young volunteers from the crowd to become magicians themselves. 

Meanwhile, world champion Bill Cheung mesmerised with close-up magic, taking the audience on a journey through time with card tricks performed in reverse order.

French stage magic innovator Guilhem Julia presented his signature Newspaper Act, which earned him the title of French Stage Magic Champion in 2018. His captivating performance has conquered stages worldwide and thrilled the audience in Bled.

French stage magic champion Charly Brahim added theatrical flair, blending magic and drama to enrich the evening.

The show concluded with a spectacular performance by world champions Alberto Giorgi and Laura, pushing the limits of the impossible right before the audience’s eyes.

Hosting the evening with flair, Peter Poles guided the audience seamlessly between acts and even surprised everyone with his own magician alter ego, Pero Čarodero, performing witty tricks to great acclaim.

Thunderous applause at the finale confirmed that the magicians had created a truly unforgettable experience. Gala Magic Show 2025 will be remembered as an evening when illusions transcended expectation and touched the hearts of all who surrendered to its magic.
