Bled Restaurants Featured in the Prestigious Falstaff 2025 Guide

Slovenian cuisine is once again shining on the European map – Bled also has its representatives in the latest annual review by Falstaff, one of the most influential European culinary platforms and guides, which has been rating restaurants, wines, bars, and culinary experiences around the world for decades.

Falstaff's ratings are based on visits by anonymous reviewers who evaluate the food, ambiance, service, and wine selection. The highest possible score is 100 points, and restaurants also receive between one and four forks as a symbol of culinary excellence.

Seven restaurants in Bled featured in the selection

The highest score, 91 points and three forks, was awarded to Restaurant 1906 at Hotel Triglav, which stands out for its excellent food quality, refined ambiance, and a clear breakthrough into regional haute cuisine.

The Executive Director of Hotel Triglav, Sonja Primožič, said on this occasion:

Following Restaurant 1906 are Restaurant Julijana (Grand Hotel Toplice) and Restaurant Rose (Bled Rose Hotel), both of which impressed with their refined offerings, excellent service, and unique lakeside location, earning 90 points and three forks each.

Restaurant 9 at the Royal Bled golf course earned two forks for its innovative dishes served in a natural setting.

One fork was awarded to the Bled Castle Restaurant, a popular choice among tourists for its locally inspired cuisine served in a unique historical setting with a stunning view.

Also awarded one fork were Restaurant Arroi, which brings Asian flavors to the Lakeside promenade, and Steakhouse Berc, known for its excellent meat dishes and homely atmosphere.

Bled’s selection in the Falstaff 2025 guide confirms that the town is not only an exceptionally picturesque destination but also an increasingly diverse and high-quality culinary hotspot.
