Month of Love in Bled

Between Valentine's Day and St. Gregory's Day, from February 14 to March 12, 2025, Bled will host a series of events under the name Month of Love. During this time, love-themed installations and photo spots will be set up along the walking path around Lake Bled. The town will feature romantically themed events, while local tourism providers will offer special Valentine’s culinary, hotel, and wellness packages. Local artisans will also invite visitors to enjoy authentic and genuine experiences.

At Bled Castle, the 4th RTM Month will take place from February 1 to March 31, highlighting romantic experiences with numerous activities for couples and families. All romantics can enjoy a wedding photo exhibition, create postcards, and participate in unique prize games.

On March 1 and 8, guided tours of Bled's famous wedding venues will be organized, taking visitors from the fairytale-like Bled Castle to prestigious hotels such as Grand Hotel Toplice, Hotel Bled Rose, and Hotel Triglav.

Love for fellow humans will be reflected through a charitable painting exhibition by members of the Atelje Bled Art Society, aimed at raising funds for eight-year-old Matic, who suffers from an incurable and rapidly progressing genetic disease, Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The exhibition will be held on the Lakeside Promenade on March 8 and 9, between 11 AM and 4 PM, with all proceeds going to the Viljem Julijan Association for Children with Rare Diseases.

Along the six-kilometer path around Lake Bled, one will come across numerous spots celebrating love. The Swing of Love in Mala Zaka gently sways towards one of Bled’s most beautiful views, while Velika Zaka invites visitors to a heart-shaped installation and the chance to write love letters.

The rowing stands in Velika Zaka once again bring the spirit of a Slovene poet Oton Župančič to Bled, a place he visited for rest and healing. His poem The Lake, written in 1912, still evokes the magic of his dreams more than a century later, with its third stanza now brought to life on the stands.

For an even more beautiful keepsake photo, the heart on the Lakeside Promenade blooms in the colors of love. Nearby, the Bled Love Story comes to life once again, inviting couples to cycle together and show just how brightly love can shine.

The power of love is also reflected in Bled’s most beautiful yet tragic love story — The Legend of the Sunken Bell. This tale is presented in the intimate and green haven of the Wellness Park and its pavilion.

During this time, a pletna boat ride will be wrapped in the colors and warmth of love. Along the path around the lake, love-inspired stops and moments will invite couples to pause — perhaps even to dance a simple two-step or share a romantic waltz.

Love Stories on Bled’s Benches

Three benches are waiting for three stories that speak of love — stories born, lived, or created in Bled.

Couples in love can share their stories by sending a private message to the Bled Slovenia Instagram or Facebook profiles. Longer stories can also be sent to the email address info@visitbled.si.

The three most beautiful stories will be featured on benches along the walking path around Lake Bled, because true love never fades — or as they say in Bled — prava ljubezen nikoli ne zBLEDi.
