Zatrnik ski resort to open on 20 February

Today, on Thursday, February 20, 2024, the Zatrnik ski resort will open for the season. A 20-centimeter layer of natural snow invites visitors to enjoy winter fun, allowing for the preparation of a sledding track and the slope next to the Zajček ski lift. A snack bar is also open at the ski resort.

The family-friendly Zatrnik ski resort near Gorje is suitable for beginner skiers and is ideal for children's first turns on the slopes. Three children's ski lifts—Medo, Bambi, and Zajček—take skiers to the top of the slopes, which are 170, 130, and 70 meters long.

Currently, the slope next to the Zajček lift is open, and by this weekend, they plan to open the slope next to the Medo lift as well.

Ski Lessons and Equipment Rental

At Zatrnik, they offer individual and group ski lessons led by instructors from the Bled Ski Club. The ski resort also provides equipment rental, including skis, ski poles, ski boots, and helmets for both children and adults. The price list is available here.

Julian Alps Card: Bled

Holders of the Julian Alps Card: Bled, which guests receive for free when staying at a partner accommodation of the Bled Tourist Board for at least three nights, can enjoy special benefits at Zatrnik. These include a 15% discount on half-day and full-day ski passes, a 20% discount on equipment rental, and a 10% discount on food and beverages at the Zatrnik Pr'Jagru restaurant.

Bled Ski Bus

You can reach Zatrnik by taking the Bled Ski Bus, which runs until March 2, 2025, offering organized transport to the ski resorts in Kranjska Gora, Pokljuka, and Vogel. For stops along the Pokljuka route, which includes Zatrnik, individual arrangements can be made directly with the driver. To secure your seat, online registration is required by 8 PM the day before departure.

The price of a return ticket is €10.00, while a season pass costs €30.00 (non-transferable) and can be purchased at the Triglavska roža Bled Info Center.
