This holiday season, experience something new, something authentic and something authentically Bled. Experiences that proudly bear the Bled Local Selection certificate invite you to Bodešče for a five-star Sound of Holidays experience that takes you back to the 19th century, to the village of Zasip, home to the story of the Tepka pear, to Hom for a guided adventure through the Enchanted Forest for families with children, and to Bled Island to learn how to make and bake "Potica". Guided adventure through the Enchanted forest on Hom
Interactive family adventure - an educational exploration of folk tales, history and local character in a guided experience through the forest.
The experience includes a guided walk through a fairy-tale decorated forest, where participants meet four fairy-tale characters and solve tasks and riddles together. The experience ends with a meeting with Santa Claus, a wooden necklace gift, and a cup of tea.

Tasting of spirits: From the most beautiful “tepka” pear to “Tr’glav” brandy

Little secrets of how the premium “Tr’glav” brandy is made from the best “tepka” pears.
The experience includes a guided visit to a farm, a tasting of 10 types of brandy/liqueurs, a platter of homemade delicacies and the option to purchase products.

Bled Cooking Class

Preparation of traditional local dishes, spiced with interesting stories.
The experience includes a cooking class for preparing three traditional dishes (barley soup, štruklji, and buckwheat dumplings) with a welcome, gift, guided instruction, and socializing with the locals.

Experience the holidays like they were once celebrated to and get to know the rich tradition of Bled and its surroundings.
The experience includes transfer from Bled, a visit to the Church of St. Leonard in Bodešče, a walk through the village, socializing with locals with folk dances and songs at the Sodar family house, festive meals, and a gift.

Preparing and baking potica on Bled Island

You are invited to a workshop on how to prepare and bake your own "Potica" cake, including a guided tour of the Bled Island. In the Potičnica ethnological workshop, "Potica" cakes are baked using local ingredients and traditional handmade utensils. During the workshop, different flavours of "Potica" cakes are available for tasting, and the cakes prepared during the workshop are neatly wrapped and can be taken home by the workshop participants.
