DESCRIPTION:Gorenjski Kvintet began their musical journey in 1997 in Begunj
 e na Gorenjskem\, the birthplace of the renowned Avsenik family\, whose le
 gacy has shaped Slovenian folk music for generations. While the ensemble p
 rimarily performs Avsenik’s timeless melodies\, their repertoire also in
 cludes a wide range of original folk compositions and lively Slovenian and
  international polkas with a touch of Gypsy flair—all delivered in the c
 lassic quintet style. The members of Gorenjski Kvintet are:  Gregor Koroš
 ec – accordion Gregor Drugovič – baritone and bass Gregor Vindiš –
  clarinet Klemen Novšak – guitar Jaka Einfalt – trumpet Vocalists: Ka
 tja Križnar and Matjaž Zadravec  With strong roots in tradition and a pa
 ssion for performance\, Gorenjski Kvintet brings energy\, authenticity\, a
