On Saturday, 19th June the Julian Alps train took its first ride. The train is a project of Slovenske železnice, municipalities included in Julian Alps Association, Triglav National Park and Slovenia Tourist Organization.
The train drives every weekend and on holidays from Ljubljana to Nova Goria via Jesenice, Bled, Bohinjska Bistrica and Most na Soči.
 
The main goal of the project is to promote Triglav National Park and Julian Alps and to contribute to Green Slovenia.
The train is being decorated by photos of Bled, Bohinj, Kranjska Gore, Soča valley and mt. Triglav. |  Back | |
