Opened in 2009, the boutique Triglav Hotel is the newest addition to the Bled hotel scene, yet it existed as early as 1906. A thorough refurbishment has made this early 20th century gem shine anew in all its glory, with items from the diverse periods in which the property has functioned as a hotel proudly displayed in the hallways. The hotel is in the immediate vicinity of the old railway station, on a hill a kilometre and a half from the centre and overlooking the lake from an interesting angle, different from that seen from other hotels.
The Triglav Hotel is distinguished by its revival of long-forgotten stories, especially from the world of traditional cuisine. The chef refers back to the times of his childhood for inspiration, and then applies modern techniques to create his masterpieces, using only the finest, preferably locally grown ingredients. With a capacity of up to 100, the Triglav Hotel restaurant is thus a prime venue for gala dinners, while culinary teambuilding programmes during which guests get to know the chef’s secrets are also available.
The hotel’s meeting facilities are suitable for smaller functions of up to 40, while the restaurant can also be converted into a meeting room with space for up to 70 delegates.
In addition to 22 lake-view rooms, a pool, Finnish sauna, fitness room and massage parlour, the Triglav Hotel also features a relaxing fireplace room, a wine cellar where tastings can be organised and two garden pavilions, suitable for standing receptions of up to 70 guests.
