Some 1000 meeting planners meet in Prague, the 56th ICCA Congress

Some 1000 attendees from all over the globe gathered in Prague, from the 12th – 15th of November 2017 for the 56th ICCA Congress (the International Congress and Convention Association) – so called “The Congress of Congresses”.
Over 5 days, the delegates discussed hot topics of the meetings’ industry, revealing mysteries of “behind the scene” when bidding for a congress, sharing ideas and best practices on all the aspects of work of the Convention Bureaus, Associations, DMCs and PCOs, hoteliers and representatives of municipalities, brainstorming on solutions for the future which is heading towards a sustainable, innovative and smart.

The Bled Convention Bureau is the member of ICCA since April this year, thus reporting to ICCA on the international events held in Bled and therefore getting Bled higher on the scale of the conference world map. The ICCA membership brings visibility of the destination to the global network of meeting planners, therefore, it is one of the marketing tools that the Bled Convention Bureau is efficiently using on daily basis. The 56th ICCA Congress summed up by forwarding the hosting to Dubai next year.
